Dear Strangers on the Internet,

It might be as a good a time as ever to remind you that the erosion of decorum on the internet only fosters an IRL culture of paranoia and ill-will.

Unfortunately, we spend so much time on the internet that it's become a large part of our daily lives. It would be a shame for that part of our lives to feel hostile and malicious.

This morning, before I was even clothed, bathed and coffee'd, a stranger on the internet called me a cunt! And good morning to you, Stranger!

Unfortunately for some, we have to co-exist in the same world and do our best to show kindness and justify one another's belief systems. It is fine to criticize or challenge those beliefs, of course. It's important to have these discussions. However, it's a step too far to attack the believer rather than attack the merits of their beliefs.

Kindness is contagious and a much more productive approach to conflict and disagreement than random internet malice.

I hope you have the day you deserve!

With love and kindness,

Nat
